Mariah Carey & Nicki Minaj Fights on American Idol?

Well that's not so true according to Ryan Seacrest but not totally false as it was reported that Mariah Carey pulled Nicki Minaj aside and convinced her that feuding would not be good for the show, and they both needed to stop the antics they pulled during Sunday's auditions."American Idol".

Mariah and others were pissed off on Sunday that Nicki arrived 45 minutes late and that set
the tone for the whole day. Although Nigel
Lythgoe is saying everything was hunky dory
Sunday, we know it wasn't.

The reported trouble has allegedly stemmed from the fact that both Carey and Minaj want to be centre of attention, as they interrupted each other, disagreed and generally painted a picture of discontent on last week’s Idol, but according to Seacrest, the pair get along fine.

Mariah talked over Nicki, criticizing her critiques, and Nicki fired right back. But on Monday, Mariah buttonholed Nicki and the 2 agreed a feud wouldn't be good for the show, so they buried the hatchet and walked down the hall smiling, hand-in-hand.

Talking about Ryan Seacrest playing down the so-called rumour, he spoke to NBC’s Today Show, and Squashed the rumours that Mariah Carey and Nicky Minaj were embattled in a ‘diva-off’ whilst they both perform judging roles on American Idol.

“There are not too many dull moments between the two of them,” Seacrest explained, “but at the end of the day, we all hug and laugh and go home and get ready for another day. They get along fine, but they're strong and candid in their opinion."

“Mariah and Nicki might never be best friends, but they can work together,” a source close to the talent said.

“If Nicki can work with Madonna, she can work with Mariah.” “Mariah is old-school, where everything starts and ends with the voice,” another source close to production told The Huffington Post.

“Nicki is looking for talent that catches her eye. She is far more interested in the whole package rather than just the ability to sing.”

But here's the thing. I think a feud is exactly what "American Idol" needs as Fox might be secretly hoping that the so-called vendetta
continues, as nothing spells higher ratings than two of the biggest women in the music industry disagreeing on live television.
