How many breakups and songs about Taylor’s breakups have to happen
before everyone realizes that the one person she should sing a song
about is herself, since they are clearly all her fault!
Joe Jonas, Taylor Lautner, Jake Gyllenhaal, John Mayer, Conor Kennedy, Cory Monteith, and now Harry Styles – the list of Hollywood men that Taylor Swift has broken up with. And you’re going to tell me that it’s always their fault? I beg to differ!
Before all the Taylor fans attempt to say I am stupid, or that my
last name is Weakland and I must have weak relationships in my life or
say something even worse, think about this: Taylor is a very successful
pop artist that can’t transfer that success to a real relationship. That
is a fact.
Now that Harry is another member of what I call Taylor’s “Dungeon Of
Broken Dreams” (Side note: That would also be a great title for an
upcoming song), he should not be sad, as it was bound to happen. Harry
should be happy that he can get any girl in the world and didn’t have to
spend a longer time with Taylor. He will be more then fine in this
situation.
But I am thinking that maybe Taylor should look at herself and see
what she is doing wrong to make these relationships with both regular
guys and celebrity studs continually fail. She is perceived as a goody
two-shoes and a super nice role model, but she constantly finds herself
in love with the first person that breathes next to her. Something tells
me she should get her priorities straight, take a break from being in
love, and just try to be single.
On Jan. 5, Taylor tweeted a lyric from her song “I Knew You Were Trouble”, which read “til you put me down.” HollywoodLife.com
broke the story that Taylor wrote this song about Harry, and that he is
aware it’s about him. So this looks like it’s a direct nod towards the
breakup, and now it looks like Harry will have to endure another song
about him.
But when is Taylor going to finally be considered as the one with the
problem? At 23 years old, she is more adult then some of her pop star
counterparts, so it’s time to set an example that she can hold a healthy
relationship. Hopefully, it’s not too late.
