Nigerian Pilgrims die in Saudi Arabia

Five Nigerian pilgrims to this year’s hajj in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, have reportedly died.

The Chairman of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, Abdullahi Mohammed has announced the death of five Nigerian pilgrims in Makkah on Tuesday.

Speaking at the 2017 pre-Arafat meeting with Hajj stakeholders, Mr. Abdullahi declined to disclose the identities of the late pilgrims as well as the circumstances surrounding their death. According to him, such information could only be disclosed after the affected families had been appropriately informed.

The Kardashains give $500,000 to Victims of Hurricane Harvey

The Kardashain clan have given the sum of $500,000 to The Red Cross and The Salvation Army to help the victims of Hurricane Harvey. According to TMZ, the money will be split between both bodies and used to help the victims of the hurricane.

A number of celebrities have donated to those in Houston battling the storm and those helping with relief efforts.
