Channel O below…

How was playing on the Big Brother StarGame

That was a great show, it was me in front of the whole of Africa it was a good experience and platform. The rest of the performances were great as well.

How did your collaboration with Naeto C start?

In 2008, I had been invited to play the The Shrine– an annual party that celebrates Stella the king of Afro-beats. I did Naeto’s set and other couple of artists. He came to get M¥ details and called me the next day, because he liked how I was playing. We met, signed the contract and the rest is history.

What does this collabo entail?

Everywhere Naeto performs, I have to be there because I control the music. What we’re trying to portray is the definition of hip-hop, which is turn-tables and a microphone. He is the emcee in front of the microphone and I’m the deejay taking care of the decks and that’s the only way you can get it right.

It’s been a great experience, I’ve been fortunate to travel around, experience different cultures, make friends with different people and listen to new music. That way I’ve been able to develop myself as a mobile deejay.

What’s next on the cards for you?

Just working to put my brand out there. I’m coming out with my own album, Ever Blazing Mixtape (E.B.M.), at the end of the year. I have a couple of songs out and two videos as well. I’m also going to be doing the Bassment Africa. I’m trying to go places and be one of the best in Africa and the globe, I’m tryna’ go places.

What is the sound of E.B.M. going to sound like?

A fusion of Afro hip-hop, dance, R&B hip hop, I know everyone will like it. I will be dropping
another new song at the end of this month and pushing the video.
