Obama: It's Too early to send Ebola drug to Africa

US President Barack Obama said it is "premature" to send an experimental medicine for the treatment of Ebola to West Africa, as Liberia declared a state of emergency amid an outbreak that shows no signs of slowing.

Obama said on Wednesday that he lacked enough information to green-light a promising medicine called ZMapp that was already used on two American aid workers who saw their conditions improve by varying degrees.

"We've got to let the science guide us and I don't think all the information is in on whether this drug is helpful," Obama said. "The Ebola virus, both currently and in the past, is controllable if you have a strong public health infrastructure in place."

Katy Perry throws major shade at Kim Kardashian

While discussing some of the costumes her dancer’s wear on her ‘Prism’ tour, Katy Perry may have just thrown major shade at Kim Kardashian.

Katy Perry discussed life on the road and how Kim Kardashian inspired part of her “Prism” tour in a brand-new interview. Katy reveals that she drew inspiration from Kim’s famous backside for some of the controversial costumes featured in her show. However, the “inspiration” Katy talks about sounds like a diss. Did Katy really call Kim’s butt “plastic?”
In the August issue of Rolling Stone, Katy addresses the critics who claim she’s culturally insensitive for having her dancers dress up as “big-bootied mummies” during a number on her “Prism” tour.
“As far as the mummy thing, I based it on plastic surgery,” Katy tells the mag. “Look at someone like Kim Kardashian or Ice-T’s wife, Coco. Those girls aren’t African-American. But it’s actually a representation of our culture wanting to be plastic, and that’s why there’s bandages and it’s mummies.”

Exclusive: Karrueche Tran Dumps Chris Brown

Karrueche Tran has dumped Chris Brown and changed her number. According to TMZ, Karrueche has not only broken up with him but also changed her number.

Sources say Karrueche exploded when Chris recently  "liked" 2 fan photos on Instagram of Rihanna and him together.

But Rihanna was only a small part of Karrueche's problems with Chris.  We're told she was unhappy for a long time ... as sources put it, because "Chris acts immature, like a child."  She thinks he's ruining his life by spending more time partying than making music.

Chris' reaction to the break up has been breathtaking.  He went to St. Tropez  this week and took a very good friend of Karrueche's along for the ride.  And he made a point to be photographed with her ... making sure Karrueche would see it.

Karrueche's reaction was not jealousy.  We're told she's changed her phone number specifically so Chris couldn't contact her.
