Photo: Nick Cannon gets rid of Mariah Carey's Tattoo

Nick Cannon was at Playhouse in Hollywood on Thursday night to celebrate his birthday. As celebs are known to do, Nick took off his shirt at one point and revealed a new tattoo, turning the 'Mariah' tattoo on his back to a Jesus Christ.

Considering how blurred the photo is, it's hard to make out the details but sources close to TMZ say the tattoo shows Jesus on the cross with angel wings coming off the end of the cross.

And in what looks pretty heavier than a coincidence, Amber Rose was present too.

Happy weekend guys.

Governor Fashola: Jonathan and PDP can’t claim credit for Victory over Ebola

Governor Babatunde Fashola of Lagos State has said that the true heroes behind Nigeria’s success in curtailing the spread of Ebola Virus Disease are not those campaigning across the country.

In his Independence Day address in Lagos, Wednesday, Mr. Fashola said that credit should not be taken away from the health workers who helped curtailed the virus.

At various rallies across Nigeria, ruling party politicians have continued to cite Nigeria’s success on the virus as among the achievements of President Goodluck Jonathan and the ruling Peoples’ Democratic Party.

Happy 54 Independence Nigeria

The National flag and anthem is enough to inspire us for each and every passing day, let us use this day to reflect on the lyrics of this anthem and try to amend where we have fallen short. Happy 54th Independence NIGERIA.

"Arise, O Compatriots"

Arise, O compatriots,

Nigeria's call obey
To serve our Fatherland
With love and strength and faith.
The labour of our heroes past
Shall never be in vain,
To serve with heart and might
One nation bound in freedom, peace and unity.

"O God of creation"

O God of creation

Direct our noble cause
Guide our leaders right
Help our youth the truth to know
In love and honesty to grow
And living just and true
Great lofty heights attain
To build a nation where peace
And justice shall reign.

"National Pledge"

I pledge to Nigeria my country

To be faithful, loyal and honest
To serve Nigeria with all my strength
To defend her unity, and uphold her honour and glory
So, help me God.
